The project "PoreGenic - patch-on-chip system for drug testing and basic research with adherent networked cells" combines various disciplines such as biophysics, cell biology, pharmacology, microsystems technology, electrical engineering, information technology and business. PoreGenic is a team of seven researcher  and several industrial partners. The basic scientific principles were investigated in a previous project at the Department of Biophysics with other contractors such as universities and companies. The project aims to develop a novel test procedure with automated patch clamp for adherent cellular networks.
